Joseph Larry Drury, age 72, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, July 06, 2024 at Spring View Hospital. He was born on March 09, 1952 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Agnes Corine Drury and the late Joseph Harold Drury. Mr. Drury was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother. He enjoyed being outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, and going to clay pigeon shoots. His family will always remember him for his love of cooking, entertaining, and hosting parties. He also had a servant's heart and loved animals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Harold Drury; son, James Anthony Drury.

Survivors include his loving wife, Pam Drury of Springfield; son, Larry Joe (Tammy) Drury of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Shannon Mattingly Drury of Lebanon; mother, Corine Drury of Loretto; three brothers, Mike (Brenda) Drury of Lebanon, Tim (Colleen) Drury of Tampa, Kevin Jerome Drury of Campbellsville; sister, Sheila (Curtis) Thomas of Louisville; three grandchildren, Ava Catherine Drury of Lexington, Autumn (Edward) Sheehan of Shelbyville, Nathan Drury of Lexington; great-granddaughter, Lovelyn Sheehan; one surprise great-grandbaby on the way.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayers service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, officiated by Father Daniel Whelan. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Drury, Kevin Drury, Ethan Drury, Doug Clements, Jonah Clements-Mattingly, Pat Payne

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ava Drury, Autumn Sheehan, Nathan Drury.
