Johnnie Dale Tingle, age 54 of Gravel Switch, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born on February 5, 1960 in DeKalb, Illinois. Mr. Tingle was a home improvement contractor.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Tingle; brother, Terry Douglas Tingle.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Gordon Tingle, of Gravel Switch, KY; mother, Bonnie Gayle Pinkston Tingle, of Harrodsburg, KY; daughter, Kara DeNora Tingle, missing; son, Travis Dale Tingle, of Gravel Switch, KY; brother, Tony Allen Tingle, of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters, Kathy Ann Sanford (Gary), Debbie Gayle Elliott (Pete), both of Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren, Austin, Terry, Nora; father and mother-in-law, Sidney and Carol Gordon, of Gravel Switch, KY, brother-in-laws, Rodney and Scott Gordon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Gravel Switch Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gerald Hegewood and Rev. Stewart Benningfield. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Friday from 4:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
