John Wallace Vancleave, age 72, passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. He was born August 03, 1949 in Lebanon to the late Wallace and Elizabeth Vancleave.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Luther Vancleave; sister, Sandra Vancleave; and nephews, Lamont Vancleave, Joseph Vancleave, and James Robert Vancleave.

Survivors include his brother, Walter Vancleave; sisters, Roberta Johnson, JoAnn Johnson, Ann Lou Vancleave, Linda Vancleave, Annette Vancleave, Shirley Vancleave, and Clara Tonge; niece Theresa Vancleave; and nephews, James Vancleave, Kevin Vancleave, Stephen Johnson, Charles Johnson Jr., and Stanley Johnson.

The family has chosen private cremation. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Lebanon National Cemetery officiated by Elder Michael Johnson.
