John Cecil Simpson, age 75 of Raywick, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born June 02, 1948 in Lebanon to the late Cecil Parrott Simpson and Lottie Elliott.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Hargis; grandson, Brandon Bodhi Logsdon; step-mother, Rhoda M. Simpson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Frances "Frankee" Simpson; daughter, Melanie (Jeff) Caldwell; grandsons, Codhi (Lauren) Logsdon, and Cameron Logsdon; and great-grandson, Bodhi Logsdon; siblings, Sarah (David) Goff, David (Virginia) Simpson, Connie Wright, Lottie Frances Smothers, Jamie Simpson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Clellan Hays officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday at Bosley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Codhi Logsdon, Cameron Logsdon, Jeff Caldwell, Sammy Joe Wright, Anthony Goff, and Chris Simpson.

Honorary pallbearers are David Goff and John Henry Elliott.
