Dr. John Wright Ratliff, age 93 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Village of Lebanon. He was born on March 13, 1920 in Bullitt County, KY. Dr. Ratliff, or Dr. John to many, was a U.S. W.W. II Army Veteran, member of the United Presbyterian Church, and a beloved family doctor, practicing medicine in Lebanon.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Manley Ratliff; second wife, Amelia Edelen Bosley Ratliff; parents, Jack Wright and Sadie Hall Ratliff.

Survivors include three step-daughters, Pamela (R.J.) Martin, Hot Springs, AR, Carol (Larry) Kimberlain, Elizabethtown, KY, Ellen Benton, Cincinnati, OH; step-son, Cranston Bosley, III, Louisville, KY; half-brother, Charles Lamont Ratliff, AL. Also surviving are ten step-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the United Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Peggy W. Birmingham. Interment will be in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Monday at Bosley Funeral Home.
