John Michael (Mike) Farmer died on January 31, 2024 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, Kentucky from complications of early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. He was born on September 30, 1960 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Mike owned a concrete finishing business in Lebanon since 1985 and retired in 2021. He was co-owner with Johnny Walls of Attic Treasures and More in Lebanon in 2016. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ky. Mike enjoyed many hobbies including; collecting antiques, playing pool, breeding horses, camping, drag racing, restoring classic cars and trucks. Mike was a Christian and often shared his faith with others. He had a big heart and was willing to help others in need. He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents John Henry Farmer and Dorothy Mae Sagracy; stepfather, Ed Sagracy; two siblings, Andy Farmer and Karen Bradshaw, both of Lebanon.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Alicia (Brady) Farmer of Lebanon, Kentucky; two children, Amy Brucbacher (Tristan) of Crestview Florida and Michael Farmer (Alicia) of Lebanon; siblings include, Patsy McElroy, Joyce Skaggs (Kenny), Kay Buckman (Buck), Harold Ray (Butch) Farmer and Linda Farmer, five grandchildren, Haley Brubacher, Alyssa Brubacher, Spencer Farmer, Wyatt Farmer and Esmae Farmer. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 03, 2024 at Lebanon Baptist Church, 144 E. Mulberry Street, Lebanon, KY 40033, with Dr. David Whitlock officiating. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, February 02, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home.

Visitation will also be held at Lebanon Baptist Church, 144 E. Mulberry Street, Lebanon, KY 40033, on Saturday, February 03, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until time of the service.

Mike has filled our hearts with love and fun memories. He will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him. May we never forget the life he lived and enjoyed so much.

Pallbearers are Lee Rakes, Frankie Skimmerhorn, Brian Graham, John Bradshaw, Collin Abell, Tristan Brubaker, and Bud Skaggs.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Alicia Farmer for Mike's headstone.
