Mr. John Henry Clarkson, age 87 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Spring View Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1927 in Gravel Switch, KY. Mr. Clarkson was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Malone Clarkson; sons, Jerry and Ricky Henry Clarkson; grandsons, William Freeman Hubbard and David Ray Clarkson, Jr.; parents, George and Rose Brown Clarkson; brothers, William Howard and L.T. Clarkson; sisters, Pauline Smothers, Lucille Adams, Catherine Green, Ruby Dye and Pearl Wright.

Survivors include sons, David Ray (Minnie) Clarkson and Michael Lee Clarkson, both of Lebanon, KY; daughter, Joyce Ann Clarkson, of Bradfordsville, KY; special nephew, Phillip Clarkson; special niece, Estelle Dye Hubbard. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Brother Jerry Lanham. Interment to follow in Elder's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
