Joe Tolbert Burdette, age 83, of Louisville, formerly of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1937 in Lebanon, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Knott Burdette and Josephine Peterson Burdette; sister, Doris Hundley; brother, Edmond Burdette.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Popham Burdette of Louisville, KY; daughter, Liz (David) Yeiser of Paris, KY; two sons, Joe Knott (Christie) Burdette of LaGrange, KY, David (Debbie) Walker of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Ruth Ann Keyser of Lebanon, KY, Mabel Bullard of Ashville, NC; nine grandchildren, David (Elizabeth) Yeiser of Louisville, KY, Katy Yeiser of Pasadena, CA, Sarah Yeiser of Washington, D.C., John Mark (Carrie) Yeirser of Athens, GA, K.C. (Mia) Burdette of Biloxi, MS, Nicholas Burdette of LaGrange, KY, Zach Walker of Phoenix, AZ, Noah Walker of Phoenix, AZ, Emily Walker of Phoenix, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Davey Yeiser, Amelia Yeiser.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday August 19, 2020 at Stewart Creek Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dan Durham. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Stewarts creek Baptist Church.
