Joan Spalding Brown, age 81, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Lexington. She was born on February 28, 1944 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Leo and Anna Hazel Spalding.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Brown; parents; sister, Barbara Peterson; brother, James Darrell Spalding.

Survivors include her sister, Juanita Marra (Dan); brother, Larry Spalding.

Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Joe Dant. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the for of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Jude Hospital.
