Jenny Ophelia Bland, age 71 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Monday, November 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1952 in Lebanon to the late James Hughes and Mary Aileene Thompson Hughes. Jenny was a true blue Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan. She never missed a game and often texted her loved ones to remind them that "the Cats are on". Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy and always put a smile on her face.

Besides her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Richie Bland; grandson, Richie Bland; and sister, Helen Childers.

Survivors include her Children, Trena (Aaron) Lee, Brian (Amy) Bland, and Stuart (Elaine) Bland; significant other, Mark Nicholson; brother, Larry (Martha) Hughes; grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Perkins, Maverick Wright, Andrea Patton, Brayden Wohner, Lucy Bland, and Olivia Bland; and great-grandchildren, Evie Perkins, Liam Mays, Abby Perkins, and Dalton Perkins.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with Deacon Joseph R. Dant officiating. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
