James Carroll Miles, age 54, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born on March 3, 1957 in Marion County, KY. Carroll was a retired state of Kentucky employee, having worked in the Health & Family Services Department.He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Earl "J.E." Miles.Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Bland Miles, of Lebanon, KY; son, Joseph Justin Miles, of Louisville, KY; special friend, Brenda; three brothers, David (Donna) Miles, of Lexington, KY, Gary (Helen) Miles, of Elizabethtown, KY, Bobby (Leizel) Miles, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Betty Ann (Dewey) Hoque, of Louisville, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Joe Dant. Interment will be in St. Charles Church Cemetery.Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home, and from 7:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
