He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Catherine Miles Bright; son, James Ruben Bright; daughter, Ashley Bright.

Survivors include wife, Elizabeth Ann Brady Bright, of Lebanon, KY; father, William Edward Bright, of Lebanon, KY; four sons, James Wesley Bright, of Lebanon, KY, Troy Allen Bright, of Lebanon, KY, Joseph Brandon Bright, of Lebanon, KY, Billy Joe Spalding, of Bardstown, KY; step-son, William Brian Brady, of Lebanon, KY; three sisters, Ann Payne, of Campbellsville, KY, Jane Phillips, of St. Joe, KY, Fran Bright, of Lebanon, KY; two grandchildren, Ashley Ann and Michael Scott Brady.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Joe Community Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
