Mr. Isaac Norman McGohon, age 87, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his daughter's home on Roswell, Georgia. He was the beloved husband of Kelsie Taylor McGohon. The couple had been married sixty-six years and resided in Elizabethtown, KY. Mr. McGohon was born on April 10, 1926 in Marion County, KY. He lived most of his live in Marion County where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. In more recent years he was a member of Gilead Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Overton and Aline Elizabeth Greer McGohon; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Jarboe; grandson, Joshua Michael Lynch.

Survivors include wife, Kelsie Taylor McGohon; son, Isaac Norman "Sonny" McGohon, of Thomson, GA; daughter, Sharon McGohon (Bill) Lynch, of Roswell, GA; five grandchildren, William Isaac and Amanda Ashley Lynch,  Mary Alison, Ryan Christopher, and Katelyn Anne McGohon; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Mildred) McGohon, of Louisville, KY, Jack (Linda) McGohon, of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Marvelle Mattingly, of Lebanon, KY, Wanda (Glen) Gabbart, of Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bosley Funeral Home, with burial in the Highview Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
