Helen Hays Spalding, age 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 at 10:19 A.M. She was born on November 21, 1937 to Wallace and Nancy Hays.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Hays.

Survivors include her husband, Al Spalding of Lebanon; daughter, Shelly (Stanley) Hourigan of Gravel Switch; son, Marty (Susie) Spalding of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Ruth (Ed) Sorace and Kaye (Birbon) Elliott; brother, Cecil (Pat) Hays; six grandchildren, Paula (Bo) Weaver of Georgia, Katie (Jason) Hurt of Glasgow, Alex and Luke Spalding of North Carolina, Brian (Ashley) Blanford and Johanna (JR) Mudd of Lebanon.

Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, six step-great grandchildren, and a very special person, Jacob Padgett, who has brought much joy and happiness to the family.

Respecting Mrs. Spalding's wishes, non-ceremonial cremation was chosen.
