Helen Louise Hughes, age 93, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, June 05, 2026 at the Sansbury Care Center in Springfield. She was born on October 05, 1932 in Finley, Kentucky to the late Joseph O'Neal and Bessie Lee Ray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gregory Hughes; parents; three great-grandsons, Adam Hurt, Evan Hurt, Jayden Hurt; six siblings, Della Mae Sapp, James David Ray, Joseph Edward Ray, John Milton Ray, Theresa Gertrude Ray, Robert Lee Ray.

Survivors include her son, Steve Hughes (Charlotte) of Raywick; three daughters, Debbie Clark (Mike) of Springfield, Connie Halcomb of Florida, Diane Ward (Jerry) of Welford, SC.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment in Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 09, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deacon Dennis May.
