Gerald Dillard Bright born January 28 ^th , 1938 passed away at his home in Bradfordsville surrounded by his loved ones on Friday May 21 ^st , 2021. He is the son of the late Stanley Bright and Nora Stayton. Husband of the late Bernadette "Mammie" Bright married in July of 1979.

Gerald is proceeded in death by the late Naomi Bright, three brothers- Dan, Seldon, and Bobby. five sisters- Rosie, Alene, Lillian, Mary Rita, and Shelby. one daughter- Karen "Pat" Bradshaw.

Gerald, best known as "Pops" is survived by two sisters- Anna Bright and Shirley (Donnie) Osborne, and One Brother- Porter Bright. three children- Sharon (James) Smith, Randy Bright, and Greg (Kim) Price. nine grandchildren- Gerald Smock, Myra (Kevin) Frye, Dan (Carissa) Smith, Melissa (Robbie) Leedom, Kaleb Smock, Michael (Mary Beth) Price, Megan Smock, Pheleisha Leedom, and Cassandra Smock Stevenson. As well as seventeen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, May 24, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home; officiated by Brother John Simpson. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.
