Gayla Kaye Bright Ponce, age 64 of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, May 09, 2025 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. She was born August 08, 1960 in Lebanon to the late Stanley Seldon and Lou Celia (Richerson) Bright.

Besides her parents, Gayla was preceded in death by her grandson, Gerald Compton; and siblings, Ann King, Lynn Reynolds, Frisby Bright, Sandy Atwood and Mark Bright.

Survivors include her children, Danny (Tina Kraft) Bright, Tim Bright, Racheal (Roberto "Shorty") Ibarra, Stanley (Katrina) Rakes, Stephen "Slow Mo" (Jamie) Rakes, William "Boo" (Cathy) Rakes and Tammy (Brian) Jordan; brother, Howard Buster Bright; also surviving are 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Bosley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are DJ Bright, Kaleb Ibarra, Eric Rakes, Dylan Kaiser, Joseph Dawson Bright Hargis, Seldon Rakes, Charlie Bright, Sammi Jo Orberson, and Craig Orberson.
