Mrs. Frances Evelyn Spalding Thompson, age 81, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Center. She was born on October 15, 1929 in Marion County, KY.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Andrew Thompson; parents, William Thomas and Lola Catherine Luckett Spalding; two sons, John David and Joseph Paul Thompson; three sisters, Pauline King, Elizabeth Miller, Mary Catherine Lawson; two brothers, Bill and J.A. Spalding.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances Elaine Cecil, of Lebanon, KY. Jackie Craig, of Lebanon, KY; two sons, Willard Thompson, Jr., Glasgow, KY, Billy Thompson, of Lebanon, KY. sister, Mary Rita Caldwell, of Lebanon, KY; fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with interment in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
Visiitations will be held after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Friday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
