Mrs. Eula "Sally" Jones Smith, age 88, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born on March 29, 1930 in Lebanon, KY. Sally was a very strong and selfless women who loved God and her family with her whole heart. She was the light that lit up a room with her smile and giving ways. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice Hafley, Sr and Appie Padgeant Hafley; her twin brother, Eunice Jr; other siblings, Katherine, Earl, George Lee, Thomas and her best friend and baby sis, Miss Josie; late husband, William Carl Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Bela "Shorty" Smith; son, Steven Lee Hafley; grandchildren, Tonie Lansing, Jeremy Lansing, William "Billy" Hafley, Jennifer Hafley; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Shelby, Meghan, Sidney, Shyla; great-great-grandchildren, Carter and Nolan.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Clellan Hays. Interment to follow in Elder Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church and will continue until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
