Mrs. Ethel Thomas Bradshaw, age 101 of Calvary, KY, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Village of Lebanon. She was born on October 27, 1913 in Calvary, KY. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Elbert Bradshaw; parents, Joseph Samuel and Nora Mattingly Thomas; daughter, Charlene Cave; great-great-grandson, Dillon Bradshaw; brothers, Kelly, Bruce, Joe and Spalding Thomas; sisters, Mary Abell, Ella Abell, Lucille Thomas and Mary Thomas.

Survivors include daughters, Frances "Bootsy" Spalding, of Calvary, KY, Cathy Wheatley, of Louisville, KY; sons, Jimmy (Harriet) Bradshaw and Freddy (Mary Elizabeth) Bradshaw, both of Louisville, KY, Carl (Margaret) Bradshaw, of Calvary, KY. Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 Monday evening.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mass of the Air or Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.
