Edward Floyd "The Old Man" Hafley, age 86, of Leitchfield, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Colonial Signature Nursing Home in Bardstown. He was born on September 25, 1938 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Thomas Hafley and Laura Hafley Wilson. Mr. Hafley was a United States Army Veteran. His family will forever remember him for his wit and in their words "for being a cantankerous old fart".

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Rita Mae Hafley; two brothers, Thomas Stevan "Steve" Hafley, James Daniel "Danny" Hafley; sister, Barbara Joy Hafley; faithful fur companion of 12 years, Tigger.

Survivors include his daughter, Tasha Hafley (Raymond) of Leitchfield; brother, Donald Hafley of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Jonathan Hafley of Indiana, Alli Hafley of Leitchfield, Hayley Varner of Leitchfield; three great-grandchildren, Little John, Kiana, and Easton.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon-2:45 P.M. on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Ryder Cemetery on Monday, November 25, 2024 with full military honors conducted by The Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
