Mrs. Edith "Grannie" Lanham, age 71 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1946 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Lanham was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Lanham (2012); parents, Homer and Ada Smothers; two daughters, Pat Lanham and Lisa Lanham; sisters, Agnes Colvin and Wilma Betty Lanham; brothers, William Jessie Smothers and Ambrose Joseph Smothers.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tim McCarty, of Lebanon, KY; five grandchildren, Tim McCarty, Jr., Joanie Robertson, Chasity Coulter (Joe), Stacey McCarty (Ricky Brown), George D. Rakes. Also surviving are seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday and will continue until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
