Mrs. Dorothy Faye Lanham, age 77 of Gravel Switch, KY, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born on December 9, 1936 in Washington County, KY. Mrs. Lanham was a retired seamstress from Jane & Linda Sportswear.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Ray Lanham (2011); parents, Cecil "Mink" and Ella Mae Logue Burns; brother-in-law, James Clarkson.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony "Tony" (Kim) Lanham, James Cecil (Tammye) Lanham, both of Gravel Switch, KY; two sisters, Wanda Mae Clarkson, of Springfield, KY, Lillie Catherine (Lowell) Taylor, of Perryville, KY; three brothers, Elmer C. (Betty) Burns, of Shepherdsville, KY, Sam (Emma) Burns, of Greensburg, KY, William T. "Billy" (Darthea) Burns, of Springfield, KY; six grandchildren, Emily Lanham (Jeff Butts), Erin (Joel)Raikes, Holly Lanham (Joe Browning), Mallie Lanham (John Lee), Dana (Lee) Walker, James Cecil Lanham, Jr.; four step-grandchildren, Susan Strange, Melinda (John) Goldey, Curt (Heather) Strange,  Mary Beth Strange; eleven great-grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Cox, Nora Beth Bland, Ezra Butts, Alexis and Isabella Raikes, Jordan and Charleigh Browning, Chole, Kyra and Donovan Logan; five step-great-grandchildren, Grayden and Lillith Strange, Izabel Goldey,Ja'Maruie Walker, and Halie Browning.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Alvin Wren, and assisted by Evangelist Josephine Nuckols, Deacon Ellis Meaux, and Brother Joe Elby. Interment to follow in the Hayesville Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
