David Eugene Cocanougher, age 51, of Lebanon passed away at 4:20 P.M. Saturday, December 04, 2021 after a short stay at Springfield Nursing Rehab Center. He was born August 24, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was the son of Donnie Lynn Cocanougher and the late Wilma Jean Bottom Cocanougher.

Eugene was a talented musician. He had a passion for playing the guitar and enjoyed sharing his gift with others. He also had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing and showing horses.

He was preceded in death by Pearl Anna Adams.

Survivors include his father, brother, Anthony (Tina) Cocanougher of Lebanon; nephew, Robert (Lauren) Cocanougher of Louisville; niece, Christy Cocanougher of Lebanon.

Also surviving are a great niece and two great nephews and many friends.

Cremation was chosen by his request. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
