Darwin Philip Depappa, age 76 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born July 31, 1946 in Rochester, NY to the late Ferdinand Depappa and Elizabeth Walter Rupert. Darwin was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Lebanon where he served as a Deacon, and a volunteer cook for dinners. He was also an avid coin collector and a proud Kentucky Colonel.

Besides his parents, Darwin was preceded in death by his brothers, Ferdinand and Donald Depappa.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Diane Depappa; son, Dale (Stacey) Depappa of Barstow, CA; daughter, Denise Depappa of Lebanon; sister, Marie (Steve) Cronk of Newark, NY; grandchildren, Erica Wilhoite, Justin Depappa, Tristan Pittman, Ashley Depappa, Bella Stefan, and Bailey Depappa; great-grandchildren, Set Martinez, Brandon Depappa, and Allison Depappa; also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 24, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Raikes officiating. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home.
