Mrs. Cora Regina Mattingly Thomas, age 94 of Calvary, KY, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Spring View Hospital. She was born on August 15, 1920 in Calvary, KY. Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker and member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mark Thomas; parents, Ben Spalding and Mary Joe Luckett Mattingly; daughter, Terri Lynn Thomas; son, Mark Thomas, III; three sisters, Hilda Spalding, Clara Bland, and Elizabeth Ford.

Survivors include seven daughters, Sharon (Spalding) White, of Nicholasville, KY, Mary Joe (Ted) Higdon, of Calvary, KY, Rita (Dave) Mattingly, of Lebanon, KY, Martha (Leonard) Potter, of Lebanon, KY, Janet (Ike) Owen, of Lebanon, KY, Jane (Dennis) Murray, of Lebanon, KY, Kim (Tim) May, of Lebanon, KY. Also surviving are eighteen grandchldren, forty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 5:00 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home with prayer services at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
