He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Jasper and Margaret Pauline Knopp Raikes, Sr.

Survivors include former wife, Judy Raikes, of Lebanon, Ky; daughter, Catherine Jeanie Jones, of Lebanon, Ky; five sons, Jeffrey Scott Raikes and Clarence Jasper Raikes, III, both of Lebanon, Jason Brian Raikes, of Loretto, Ky, James Christian Raikes and Jonathan Ashley Raikes, both of Lebanon; brother, David Raikes, of Lebanon; six sisters, Doris Ann Morris and Betty Coury, of Louisville, Barbara Joner, of Greenville, S.C., Wanda Lanham, of Lebanon, Peggy Carper, of Louisville, and Debra Bland, of Lebanon. Also surviving are nine grandchild.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Rinehart. Interment will be in the Our Lady of the Hills Church Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Tuesday evening.
