Clara Ann Turner Gibson was born on April 4 th , 1938 in Lebanon, KY. She was the daughter of Mary and Alvin Turner. As a child, she enjoyed spending time with her neighbors, brothers, sister and cousins. She loved to reminisce about the family outings to the river. She and her brothers and sister especially liked to talk about the stories that their dad would tell around the fire at night. Family was always the focus of her life.
She married Tyra Gibson on January 7 th 1965. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage before Tyra passed in 1997. They had two children, Laurie and Morris. As a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ann worked at McDuffee Motor Freight for a while, but she spent most of her working years at Lebanon Oak Flooring, where she served as a bookkeeper for 36 years. Mrs. Gibson worked hard in all she did, whether it was at Lebanon Oak Flooring, or out in her yard. She was an active member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church throughout her life, where she attended Sunday school regularly. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time in her yard, tending to her flowers and vegetables. She was also a great cook and nothing made her happier than cooking a meal to share with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Gibson Followell (Kevin), daughter-in-law Karen Gibson, her brother Charles Turner (Barbara), sister Kathy Browning, sister-in-law Donna Turner, her niece Katherine Turner and many other loving nieces and nephews.
