Charlotte Walker of Lebanon, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY.   She was 80 years old.

Charlotte was born on September 23, 1942, in Samson, Alabama to the late Rev. Marshall Ford and Edith McDonald Ford.

Charlotte attended Demopolis High School in Demopolis, Alabama later studied elementary education at Livingston State College. Her last employer was Family Tree in Louisville, KY.

Charlotte worked various jobs but none were as true to her character as her last career as a sitter/ caregiver. She had great compassion for others, bringing comfort and joy to others that were often confined to their bed. This gift of caring was true to her character up until her last days on this earth.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ford.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Wesley Walker Jr. (Paula) of Louisville, KY and Stewart Gregory Walker (Monica) of Cox's Creek, KY; three sisters, Gwen Puzak of Livingston, AL, Georgia Horsely of St. Augustine, FL, and Marsha Harrow (Mickey) of Greensboro, AL; Eight grandchildren- Tori Walker Gidcumb, Evan Walker, Elliott Walker, Lillie Walker, Graydon Walker, Daniel Walker, Lacey Darnell, and Shelby Cross in addition to six great grandchildren - Jacob Walker, Jordan Darnell, Memphis Darnell, Cole Coulter, Dani Coulter and Cora Gidcumb.

The family wishes to thank Charlotte and the other staff members at the Village of Lebanon for the care and kindness given to Charlotte Walker over the past year, very grateful for your passion in caring for others.

A memorial and celebration of Charlotte's life will be held in Livingston, Alabama on October 21, 2023.
