Charles William Moore, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home. He was born October 24, 1934 in Lebanon. He was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Moore; daughter, Dorothy Moore; parents, Edward Clarence and Annie Belle Moore; brother, Robert Moore; and sisters, Louella Bright, Almarine Wright, and Dorothy Black.

Survivors include his sons, James William "Chipper" Moore, Charles Timothy (Ann) Moore, Gary Lee (Peggy) Moore, all of Lebanon, and Larry Dale (LeaAnn) Moore of Finley; daughters, Carolyn Louise (Richard) Wooldridge of Finley, and Connie Marie (Wally) Abell of Raywick; grandchildren, Billy Michael (Beth) Sherrill, Lena Michelle (Chad) Reed, Richard Allen (Misty) Wooldridge, Mitchell Lee (Courtney) Wooldridge, Justin Ryan Wooldridge, Rachael Paige Abell (Adam Garnder), Matthew Tyler (Candace) Benningfield, Jordan Lee (Melody) Moore, Leann Marie (Jonathan) Greenwell, Thomas Edward Abell (Kaden Campbell, and Marcus Bradley Moore; brother, Tom (Betty) Moore of Jessietown; also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 06, 2022 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, August 05, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Billy Michael Sherrill, Richard Allen Wooldridge, Mitchell Wooldridge, Justin Wooldridge, Tyler Benningfield, Jordan Moore, Thomas Abell, and Marcus Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Lenna Reed, Paige Abell, and Leann Greenwell.
