Mr. Charles Robert Mudd, Jr, age 74, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his daughter's home in Georgetown, KY. He was born on February 23, 1938 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Mudd was a farmer, and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pauline Thompson Mudd (2011); parents, Charles Robert and Mary Helena Spalding Mudd, Sr; sisters, Hazel Thompson, and Helen Ann Mudd; brother, Joseph Elbert Mudd.

Surviviors include daughters, Mary Joann Hutchins, of Georgetown, KY, Rose Marie Mudd Perkins, of Georgetown, KY, Helen Ann Mudd, of Reno, NV, and Julia Thompson Mudd, of Williamson, WV; son, Charles Robert Mudd, III, of Springfield, KY; sisters, Clarissa Kelly, of Lebanon, KY, Sr. Susan Mary Mudd, O.S.U, of Owensboro, KY, Benita Riney, of Owensboro, KY, Dolores Thompson, of Owensboro, KY, Maggie Hayden, of Lexington, KY, and Dianne Simi, of Lexington, KY; brothers, Victor Mudd, of Lebanon, KY, Leonard Mudd, of Bardstown, KY, and Joseph Lawrence Mudd, of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Charles Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Graf. Interment will be in St. Charles Church Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home with a prayer service Friday evening at 7:00.
