Charles David
Brady
Jun 20, 1952 — Sep 7, 2026
Lebanon
Charles David Brady, lovingly known as David, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
David was born June 20, 1952, to the late Shelton and Mary Frances Brady of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Marshall Brady and Len Brady.
David was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and treasured friend. He shared 48 years of marriage with his wife, Sherry (Wimsatt) Brady—a life built together through love, family, faith, and countless memories.
In addition to his wife, Sherry, David is survived by his two sons, Jason (Sara) Brady and John David Brady, both of Lebanon; and two grandsons, Zachary (Anna) Brady and Lincoln Brady, also of Lebanon; three siblings, Doris Smith, Larry Brady, and Gary Brady. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Above all, David’s greatest joy was his family. He was a steady and loving presence in their lives—a devoted husband and father whose love could be seen not only in his words, but in the life he built and the way he cared for those around him. His family will forever carry with them the memories, lessons, laughter, and love he gave so freely.
David was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Calvary, where his faith was an important part of his life.
While his family grieves his loss, they are deeply grateful for the years they were blessed to share with him. His life leaves a lasting legacy in the family he loved so deeply and in the many lives touched by his presence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 11, 2026 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deaon Joe Dant.
