Mr. Charles Cloyd Brady, age 89 of St. Joe, KY, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Baptist Hospital East. He was born on March 26, 1925 in St. Joe, KY. Mr. Brady was a retired farmer, logger, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-one years, Mary Rose Medley Brady; parents, Benjamin Francis and Cora Lee Stepp Brady; two brothers, Phillip and Wilbur Brady; two sisters, Eunice Brady and Lottie Brady Shaw.

Survivors include four sisters, Cordie Smith, of Springfield, KY, Catherine Medley, of Bardstown, KY, Theresa Shaw, of Fort Myers, FL, and Bernadine Spalding, of Bardstown, KY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the St. Joe Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. Monday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Children's Hospital.
