Charles Kenneth Campbell, age 86 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 with his loving family at his bedside. He was born May 17, 1928 to his parents, Eugene and Flora Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Flora Campbell; three sisters, Fayrene Hays, Mayola Young and Evelyn Jarboe; brother, Garland Campbell.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-three years, Alice Elder Campbell, of Lebanon, KY; son, Kenneth Terry (Betty) Campbell, of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Renee Campbell, Wendy (Eric) Thompson, Scott Campbell, all of Lebanon; four great-grandchildren, Collin Johnson, Madison Johnson, Maci Thompson and Kendall Thompson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. David Whitlock. Interment to follow in St. Charles Church Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Charles was a farmer who got up early every morning and was ready to go. He never had a job that he didn't like. He loved his wife and never complained. Charles started working at the age of thirteen with his brother Garland in the 1940's. From 1941 to 2010, Charles worked at the Burley Warehouse, putting in sixty-nine years. He will be greatly missed by his family.
