Mrs. Catherine Helen "Cappie" Rogers, age 86, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born on June 14, 1925 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Rogers was a Homemaker and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rogers (2006); parents, Joseph Lafe and Susan Ethel Robinson Bland; daughter, Eva Sue Brussell; daughter-in-law, Brenda Rogers; granddaughter, Kris Collins; two sisters, Thelma Abell and Tillie Bland; five brothers, Hite, Joe, Albert, Buster, and Thomas (Pete) Bland.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria (Ed) Purdom, of Harrodsburg, KY, Tinker Bell (Mike) Miles, of Loretto, KY; three sons, Jimmy (Faye) Rogers, of Louisville, KY, Joe Vern (Pokey) Rogers, of Lebanon, KY, George (Therese) Rogers, of Indianapolis, IN; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Charles Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Graf. Interment will be in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Thursday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
