Vivian Catherine "Cattie" Burris, age 104 of Brentwood, TN, formerly of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 07, 2023 at The Rivers at Maryland Farms in Brentwood, TN. She was born April 21, 1919 in Riley, KY to the late William McKinley Whitehouse and Dora Ann Edwards Whitehouse.

Besides her parents, Cattie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Burris; sons-in-law, Jack McGohon and Richard Hulette; and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda McGohon of LaGrange, KY and Jane (Bob) Stammer of Brentwood, TN; sister-in-law, Maydell Whitehouse; grandchildren, Mark Kelly McGohon, Jeffrey (Jean) McGohon, Jennifer (Pete) Willard, Robert Brandon (April) Hulette, and John Whitney Hulette; also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service on Monday at Bosley Funeral Home.
