Carol Janine "Jan" Smothers, age 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 07, 1956 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Carol Salot Carrico and the late Robert "Bobby" Carrico. Jan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She loved going to the beach and in her spare time enjoyed playing bunco and doing arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family as well as her two fur babies, BB and Scout.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lee Smothers; father, Robert "Bobby" Carrico.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Kenny Smothers of Lebanon; two sons, Jay Smothers (Stephanie Hafley) of Bradfordsville, Timothy Smothers (Whitley) of Lebanon; mother, Carol Salot Carrico of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Brady Beard, Abbi Smothers Porter (Trey), Phoenix Bowman, Jett Bowman, Zach Lee, J.T. Lee, Grace Smothers, Hunter Smothers; brother, Robby Carrico; two sisters, Pam Muir (Leige), Laurie Carrico.

Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Roger Followell. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.
