Bonita Marlene Mullins, age 81 of Lebanon, passed away Friday September 03, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1939 in Marion County to the late Chester and Lillian Thompson. Mrs. Mullins was a retired school teacher with the Marion County Public School System.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James Melvin Mullins; sons, Monty (Pam) Mullins of Bradfordsville, and Marshall (Dottie) Mullins of Bradfordsville; grandchildren, Melanie (Jamie) Daugherty of Raywick, Jon (Tiffany) Mullins of Lebanon, Megan (Michael) Daddesi of Jenson Beach, FL, and Jordan (DJ) Mullins of Bradfordsville; sisters, Lillie (Keith) Wright of Mt. Washington, Bonnie (Danny) Cabell of Shelbyville, Connie (Larry) Carnell of Los Lunas NM, and Barbara (Charlie) Hardin of Lebanon; brothers, Jerry (Guy) Thompson of Lebanon, Wayne (Nelda) Thompson of Campbellsville, Roger (Connie) Thompson of Campbellsville, Chester Thompson Jr. of Bardstown, Kenneth (Ellen) Thompson of Bardstown, David (Carol) Thompson of Bradfordsville, and Mitchell (Kitty) Thompson of Cambellsville; also surviving are seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 08, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Cabell, and Rev. Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 07, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take form of contributions to Hosparus Health, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205.

Pallbearers are Jon Mullins, Jordan Mullins, Travis Cabell, Mark Thompson, Kevin Thompson, and Jason Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Thompson, Melanie Daugherty, and Megan Dadessi.
