Blayne Hancock, age 87 of Mt. Washington, KY,  passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1931 in Bradfordsville, KY. Mr. Hancock was a proud United States Veteran, having fought in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Berneice Woodrum Hancock; two daughters, Cheryl Blayne Hancock, Deborah Jo Scott; two brothers, Hubert Hancock, Albert Hancock; sister, Geneva VanDyke.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene Spalding Hancock, of Mt. Washington, KY; daughter, Renee Adkisson, of Louisville, KY; twin brother, Wayne Hancock, of Lebanon, KY; four grandchildren, Thomas Blayne Hancock, Rebecca Jo Costisick, Charles Richard Adkisson, III, Samuel Cole Adkisson; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Yirdaw Scott, Noah Yamiral Scott and Alexandria Scott Costisick.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Alvin Wren. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday and will continue until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
