Benjamin Johnson Medley Jr., age 79 of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, September 04, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital. BJ was born on November 10, 1941 in Springfield, KY to B.J., Sr and Anna R Johnson Medley. He retired from Ford Motor Co. and was a lifelong farmer. He loved his land, raising cattle and his crops. He enjoyed fishing, telling stories, and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Peg Wimsatt, Helen Stoll, and Victoria Edwards; brothers, Sidney Medley and Thomas R Medley.

He is survived by his children, Tony Medley, Tammy Medley, Staci Abell and Michael (Jess) Medley; grandchildren, Jamie (Rebecca) Medley, Nikki (Sean) Anderson, Daniel Medley, Jon-Erik (Jordan) Abell Ben Medley, Zoe Medley, Israel Medley, Luke Medley, and Levi Harrison; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mason and Evan Medley, Reiss and Caroline Anderson, and Madeline-Jane Abell; also surviving are sisters, Marilyn (Teddy) Boone, Norma (Del) Leachman, Jeanette Aronhime and Fred (Frances) Medley; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Rose Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 09, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

Pallbearers are Sean Anderson, Jon-Erik Abell, Jamie Medley, Fred Medley, Mike Medley, and Jamie Wade.
