Mrs. Barbara Ann Thomas Mattingly, age 77, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1933 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Mattingly was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Thurman "Edd" and Eliazabeth "Lyda" Raley Mattingly; son, Bobby Mattingly; sisters, Mary Jane Carrico and Susy Logston; brother, Bobby Thomas.
Survivors include husband, Joseph Benjamin "Joe B." Mattingly of Lebanon, KY; daughters, Annette Mattingly of Ely, MN, Kristi Nuss of Louisvilly, KY, Kerry (Tim) DiDiego of Lexington, KY; sons, Tim (Mary Ann) Mattingly of Lebanon, KY, Jeff Mattingly of Clarksville, IN, Mark (Celia) Mattingly of Columbus, OH, Stuart (Grace) Mattingly of Lebanon, KY, Paul (Amy) Mattingly of Atlanta, GA, Matthew (Alexis) Mattingly of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Kim Mattingly of NC; sisters, Helen Chavez of Florence, KY, Connie O'Daniel of Nicholasville, KY, Nancy Totten of Louisville, KY, Peggy Gorman of Burgin, KY, Jackie Thomas of Lexington, KY, Cathy Thomas of Mt. Washington, KY; seventeen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. Charles Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Graf. Interment in St. Charles Church Cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a prayer service that evening at 7:00 held by Deacon Eddie Hutchins.
