Archie Louis O'Daniel III, age 81, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born to Arch Louis and Margaret Augusta "Maggie" Beard O'Daniel on July 11, 1940. He attended St. Augustine grade school, St. Joe Prep and graduated from St. Charles High School. Mr. O'Daniel belonged to the Plumber's & Pipefitters Union 52 and worked in various states across the country. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Malinda Ann O'Daniel; brother-in-laws, Bill Mott and John Newcomb; sister-in-law, Nelle O'Daniel.

He is survived by his son, Tony Straughn (Tammie Sue); two grandchildren, Ashlyn and Anthony Straughn; siblings, Margaret Mott, Jerry O'Daniel, Sarah "Sally" Newcomb, Joe David O'Daniel (Betty).

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
