She is preceded in death by her first husband, Alton Joseph Reynolds; parents, John Henry and Anna Louise Spalding Thomas; son, John Raley Reynolds; brothers, Joe Wilber and Johnny Bob Thomas; sisters, Elizabeth Thomas and Regina Mudd.

Survivors include husband, Paul Abell, Jr, of Lebanon, KY; three daughters, Mary Lou ( Keith) Brock, of Lebanon, KY, Martha Alice Mattingly, of Lebanon, KY, Mary Rita (Billy) Nally, of Loretto, KY; five sons, Michael Alton Reynolds, of Mt. Washington, KY, Jeffrey Thomas (Judy) Reynolds, Kenneth Spalding Reynolds, of Louisville, KY, James T. (Kathy) Reynolds, of St. Joe, KY, Robbie (Jane) Reynolds, of Bardstown, KY; eight step-daughters, Bonnie (Wheatley) Hamilton, Betty (Mike) Johnston, Carolyn (Jimmy) Keene, Frances (Terry) Thompson, Sandy ( Walter) Leachman, Judy ((Bob) O'Brien, Rosie (Tim) Spalding, Jennifer ( Michael) Jarboe; step-son, Joe Paul ( Marcie) Abell. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, twenty-two step-grandchildren, and forty step-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Bill Bowling. Interment will be in the St. Joe Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
