Alicia Joan O'Donnell, age 79, of Stanford, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was born on February 3, 1933 in Louisville, KY. Ms. O'Donnell was a graduate of St. Catharine's High School in Springfield, KY, and the Maryland Institute College of Art. Alicia was an accomplished artist, proof reader, loved gardening, and rescuing injured and homeless animals. She was also a Kentucky Colonel and a Daughter of the American Revolution.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Regina McChord, Jr. (Lebanon, KY)

Survivors include her seven children, Patrick, Kathleen, Maureen, Timothy, Bridget, Killian, and Sean. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012  at St. Augustine Catholic Church, followed by interment in Ryder Cemetery.
