Alice Wright Brown, age 85 of Springfield, KY,  passed away Tuesday, February 04, 2020 at Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born on March 20, 1934 in Springfield, KY. Mrs. Brown was a retired clerk and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her
husband, Sylvester Reed Brown, Sr.; parents, Robert E. Wright and Laura Della Murrell Wright; son, Sylvester Brown, Jr.; grandson, Chris Hinkle;
great grandson, C.J. Hinkle; two sisters, Margaret Davis and Elizabeth Fogle; three brothers, James Wright, George Wright, Bobby Walker.

Survivors include her son, David Brown, of Springfield, KY; four daughters, Cecilia Elaine Richardson, of Louisville, KY, Joyce (Richard) Crumbie, of Lexington, KY, Ruby Brown of Alabama, Rebecca (Edward) Fogg, of Louisville, KY; five brothers, Charles Wright, of Springfield, KY, Henry Wright, of Rooster Run, KY, John Wright, of Louisville, KY, Thomas Wright, of Louisville, KY, Tommy Walker, of Springfield, KY; three sisters, Laura Truitt of Louisville, KY, Roberta Berry, of Louisville, KY, Bernice Simpson, of Maryland.

Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 08, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 07, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home with prayer services to be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
