Obituary

Aliana Faith Smith, infant daughter of Chasity and Micheal Smith, was delivered on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Spring View Hospital.  She went to be with our Lord before her birth, even though we were blessed with her for a few short miraculous weeks her absence has left an unimaginable hole in our hearts. (Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.")  She will always and forever be loved and missed, until we see her again.

She is preceded in death by her great grandparents Kenneth and Helen Smith of Campbellsville.  Stanley and Goldie Brady of Lebanon, and JW and Jean Maupin of Lebanon.  One Great -Aunt, Linda Brady-Hayes, and a Great-Uncle, Steve Maupin.

She is survived by her parents Micheal Ray Smith of Campbellsville, and Chasity Lynn Maupin Smith of Lebanon.  Two brothers, Alexander Ray Smith and Aiden Joseph Smith.  Three sisters, Krysten Smith of Campbellsville, Adalyn Victoria Smith and Ava Alizabeth Smith of Lebanon.  One niece and nephew.  Her paternal grandparents; Gerald (Kitty) Smith (late Kathy Smith) of Campbellsville. Anna Dean Nunn (late Steve Nunn) of Greensburg.  Her maternal grandparents; Vickie (Ricky) Courtwright and Mike (Stacy) Maupin all of Lebanon.  One aunt Jennifer (Eric) Ford of Campbellsville, 5 uncles, David (Vickie) Smith of Campbellsville, Thomas Smith.  Jonathon Courtwright, Eric Maupin and Dustin Maupin all of Lebanon.  Several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

A mass of Christian Burial for Aliana Faith Smith will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier at 11:00 a.m.   Rev. David W. Naylor will be officiating.  Cremation was chosen.

Listen...can you hear it?

A heavenly choir sings.

Another little angel

Just got her set of wings.

There's joy and there is shouting

As she steps through heaven's gate.

They all lined up to greet her.

All the angels celebrate.

Her eyes are shining brightly

And a smile lights her face,

As she receives her halo

And takes her special place.

She's the smallest little angel

With the biggest kind of love.

She's wiser than an owl

And more peaceful than a dove.

And though there's joy in heaven,

There is sorrow down below.

Broken hearts are crying

Since they had to let her go.

So, she watches them from heaven

But she knows the time will come,

They will join their precious daughter

When their work on earth is done.
