I looked for Jeff on facebook and was saddend that he had passed. Then I found this online about Ted. I have been wondering about this family for several years. I wish I had looked it up sooner. I never saw Ted without a smile or without a kind word. He was a genuine happy soul and loved people truly. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I pulled in the Shockency driveway years ago, but not for sure I had the right one. I left so as to not embarrass myself. I wish now I had knocked on that door. I wish I had Ted's spirit, and have thought of this family often. They were so sweet and kind. I am better for getting to know each of you. Jeff was my all time favorite boss and treasure his as well of this whole familys frienship. Prayers

We offer our most heartfelt sympathy to the entire Shockency family. We only spent a small amount of time with Mr. Shockency but instantly felt like we had known him forever. His daughter Debra always spoke of him ... Must be another reason why we felt so close to him. His many children are a very close-knit family and are a true testament to him being such a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He seemed such a gentle, compassionate and kind man. Your many wonderful memories will always keep him close in your hearts!

Many loving thoughts and prayers from all the T's - Tom, Toni, Tyner, Taylor, Trevor and Teah

Dear Mrs. Shockency and family:

I worked with Ted at Whirlpool and you took care of the wonderful 80th birthday party for my husband, Joseph Rosel in August 1987. I moved here to Greenspring Retirement Village a year ago, close to our daughter.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I shall remember you in my prayers at mass tomorrow. Kitty Rosel
