Elizabeth Odele Caldwell

Mrs. Elizabeth Odele Wathen Caldwell, age 82, of Calvary, KY, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Caldwell was a lifelong member of the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, and a member of the Calvary Homemakers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Ivo Caldwell, Jr; parents, Harry and Lorenia Wathen; four daughters, Brenda Kay and Linda Mae Caldwell; Elizabeth Karen Money; Brenda Catherine Caldwell; son, Austin Caldwell; two brothers, Joe and Frank Wathen; four grandchildren, Bobbi Lou Gaddie, Leslie Ann Gaddie, Jason and Wesley Wiser; one great-grandchild.

Survivors include seven daughters, Marcella (Patrick) Brady, of Calvary, KY, Cecilia Smith, of Lebanon, KY, Connie (Robert) Gaddie, of Lebanon, KY, Pamela (Billy) Ford, of Campbellsville, KY, Phyllis Beavers, of Bardstown, KY, Monica (Barry) Raikes, of Calvary, KY, Jackie (Aaron Thomas) Caldwell, of Bardstown, KY; five sons, Billy (Marian) Caldwell, of Calvary, KY, Timmy (Kay) Caldwell, of Calvary, KY, Jerry (Annette) Caldwell, of Calvary, KY, Danny (Karen) Caldwell, of Finley, KY, Charlie (Marie) Caldwell, of Campbellsville, KY; six sisters, Gesine Cooley, of Michigan, Colleen Luckett, of Louisville, KY, Geneva Riggs, of Hodgensville, KY, Rosie Browning, of Lebanon, KY, Betty Newton, of Louisville, KY, Georgia Francisco, of Lebanon, KY; also surviving are forty-one grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Caldwell will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jerry Bell. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home, with a prayer service Tuesday evening at 7:00  by Deacon Dennis May.

Expressions of Sympathy may be made to the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery Fund.
